fiddling with css
Bear with me peoples. You might notice some funky cosmetic things going on. In most browsers everything was looking okay, but IE is especially finicky, so i’m playing around with the CSS. If anyone wants to help me figure some of this stuff out, feel free to throw some assistance my way.

I’m out of practice and am now reviewing my css styles. I realize I got carried away, overcomplicating things with too many child tags. It appears that I cleared up some of the outstanding issues for now.
- search field is working again
- gallery page now displays thumbnails properly in IE
- sidebar now displays properly in IE
